GNA Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive

The Luke 4.18 Committee will be hosting a Thanksgiving Food Drive to benefit the Vaughan Food Bank. The Drive will begin on September 20th and run until October 5th. Please send in new, unopened, non-perishable food items. Luke 4.18 committee members will be visiting each classroom every morning to collect the food items. The class that collects the most items will win the Guardian Angels Spirit

Allergy Safe Lunches

Parents often bring in hot lunches for their children here at school. We ask that you kindly refrain from bringing in any hot lunches from establishments that have nuts and or nut products such as McDonald’s or Tim Hortons in order to keep our students safe. Orange Shirt Day on September 28th

Sunday, September 30th will be Orange Shirt Day. This is a movement that began in 2013 as a way to recognize the experience of Indigenous people who survived residential schools. Picture Day on October 12th

Students will be taking school photos on Friday, October 12th for JK to Grade 8. All students must wear their standardized dress code items for the photos. An opportunity to wear their own dress will be provided when the school offers a Spring photo session later on in the school year.
